Arivale Lab handles prevention, Arivale focuses on treatment, and Holdings manages long-term care

Arivale targets 1 trillion won in revenue by 2030, reinvesting self-generated business profits into biotech

Arivale Group is moving to establish a business framework that seamlessly connects the prevention, treatment, and management of degenerative brain diseases, including dementia. Centered on Arivale Holdings (290690), the initiative aims to link the research and commercialization capabilities of three core companies while building a growth structure that reinvests capital secured from its own businesses into the biotech sector.

The group’s shared vision is to create “a world where everyone can remain themselves until the very end.” Jung Jae-joon, Chairman of Arivale Group, explained that because dementia progresses through multiple stages before symptoms manifest, an approach that encompasses the entire disease lifecycle is essential.

To execute this strategy, Arivale Lab will oversee prevention, Arivale will handle treatment, and Arivale Holdings will manage care. Chairman Jung stated that by connecting the three companies into a single platform, the group will “take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of brain diseases.”

Arivale Lab, tasked with the prevention sector, is pursuing the development of an Alzheimer’s vaccine leveraging its proprietary immune-adjuvant platform and vaccine development experience. The company plans to expand its research scope into degenerative brain disease prevention by utilizing the technology and clinical expertise accumulated through shingles vaccine research.

The core of the treatment sector is ‘AR1001,’ an oral Alzheimer’s disease therapeutic candidate currently being developed by Arivale. Based on the results of the global Phase 3 clinical trial ‘POLARIS-AD,’ the company aims to prepare a New Drug Application (NDA) for submission to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), targeting application and approval between 2027 and 2028. The group has also outlined a plan to achieve 1 trillion won in sales by 2030 through the commercialization of AR1001 and the expansion of its follow-on pipeline.

Arivale Holdings will supply capital and infrastructure to the two companies while expanding everyday brain health management businesses. Its role is to secure the financial resources necessary to support R&D through its own operations while channeling the growth and investment returns of its subsidiaries back into the group's expansion.

To this end, Holdings is pursuing the reinforcement of its revenue foundation in lighting and electrical construction, the expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) data infrastructure, the nurturing of brain health management businesses, and biotech investments. Within the lighting business, the company plans to increase the proportion of high-value-added products, such as human-centric lighting, biotherapy, and specialized medical lighting.

The AI data infrastructure business will be expanded in phases through data center electrical construction and the provision of tenant spaces and facilities. The initiative aims to lay the groundwork for integrating the research and clinical data of group affiliates and expand into building AI computing infrastructure. The company plans to manage capital risk by securing customer demand prior to making investments.

In the brain health management sector, the group is reviewing ways to apply human-centric lighting to sleep and cognitive management, while establishing sales channels for transcranial electronic medical devices. This business connects prevention and treatment to everyday management. The technologies and pipelines secured through investments and M&As in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors will also be integrated into the group's operations.

Holdings’ projected revenue targets are 200 billion to 300 billion won for 2027–2028, and 300 billion to 500 billion won for 2029–2030. The strategy is to channel profits generated from its proprietary businesses into subsidiary support and new ventures, subsequently feeding R&D and commercialization achievements back into investment, thereby simultaneously driving group growth and enhancing shareholder value for Holdings.
