Hyundai Yacht, a marine leisure subsidiary of the HLB Group, announced on the 8th that it will hold its "2027 Winter Discount" promotion through December 20, offering benefits of up to 8% for customers purchasing premium yachts.
The promotion is designed for customers who have deferred purchases due to price and exchange rate concerns, as well as those considering sole ownership following their experiences with yacht co-ownership.
Clients who complete a contract during the promotional period will receive a 5% discount based on the base price and options, supplemented by an additional 2% special incentive from Hyundai Yacht. Customers who agree to serve as "showcase partners" for marketing purposes are eligible for an additional 1% discount, bringing the total savings to 8%.
The promotion applies to a wide range of models, including high-end luxury brands such as Ferretti, Pershing, and Riva, as well as global premium brands like Prestige and Excess.
Hyundai Yacht noted that the recent decline in the euro exchange rate has significantly reduced the cost burden for imported yacht purchases. According to the company, the exchange rate, which approached 1,800 won per euro in June, dropped to approximately 1,540 won as of October 1.
The company estimates that by combining the current exchange rate with the promotional discount, customers can achieve significant savings compared to the peak exchange rate period. Potential savings include approximately 590 million won for the "Ferretti 500," 340 million won for the "Prestige F4.3," and 370 million won for the "Excess 14."
Hyundai Yacht anticipates that this promotion serves as a strategic opportunity for buyers, especially as major global yacht brands are expected to increase vessel prices next year.
