Exclusive gathering of 35 handpicked key opinion leaders (KOLs) from 11 countries in Bali, Indonesia, introduces a high-tier educational program distinct from the conventional NMC framework.

Advanced lectures and roundtable discussions facilitate the sharing of sophisticated clinical insights and global treatment consensus.

Establishes mid-to-long-term academic partnerships with KOLs, laying the groundwork to leap forward as a core player in the global aesthetic market.

Daewoong Pharmaceutical (069620) has hosted a global academic event in Bali, Indonesia, aimed at sharing international clinical experiences with its botulinum toxin product, Nabota, and expanding academic cooperation with leading medical professionals worldwide. The event featured an advanced curriculum designed to elevate professional standards beyond conventional physician training programs, allowing doctors to compare regional procedural experiences and discuss future collaborative strategies.

The company announced that it held the 'NMC EXCLUSIVE Global KOL Summit Bali 2026' from October 29 to 31 in Bali. The event brought together 35 key opinion leaders (KOLs) from 11 countries, spanning South Korea, the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, and Latin America.

This summit served as an advanced tier of the 'NABOTA Master Class (NMC)' operated by Daewoong Pharmaceutical. While the traditional NMC focuses on enhancing global practitioners' procedural capabilities and academic exchange, the NMC EXCLUSIVE differentiates itself by offering advanced education and discussions tailored for physicians with extensive clinical experience and specialized expertise.

Held under the theme "SHAPED–SHAPING–WHAT’S NEXT: Nabota’s Past, Present, and Future We Build Together," the three-day event allowed participants to share regional procedural experiences and clinical approaches while exploring future applications and academic partnerships for Nabota.

The opening day featured a 'Global Treatment Consensus & Advisory Session.' Medical experts from major countries including South Korea, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil presented clinical cases utilizing Nabota across diverse areas, ranging from forehead, glabellar, and crow's feet wrinkles to the masseter muscle, lower face, neck, and body contouring.

During the subsequent roundtable discussions, participants compared regional clinical cases and procedural approaches. Drawing on their practical medical experiences, attendees examined procedural considerations and application methods by treatment area, seeking standardized procedural guidelines.

On the second day, advanced, case-centric education sessions were conducted based on the 'R.E.A.L. (Reference·Evaluate·Apply·Learn)' guidelines.

Dr. Alexander Nassif from Brazil explained the facial anatomical factors that must be considered during botulinum toxin treatment planning and clinical decision-making.

Dr. Anesia Tania from Indonesia shared her clinical experience applying proprietary techniques utilizing Nabota—namely 'NABOLIFT' and 'NABOGLOW'—to the face and neck.

Dr. Chun-shik Yoon from South Korea introduced specialized botulinum toxin treatment techniques and clinical experiences for specific anatomical areas, while Dr. Hsin-Hung Chen from Taiwan presented cases utilizing botulinum toxin for migraine treatment.

In the concluding 'NABOTA Global Vision & Future KOL Collaboration' session, participants synthesized the insights discussed throughout the event, reviewing developmental directions for major treatment areas and cross-border academic cooperation strategies.

The itinerary also included visits to BWork Uluwatu, the Daewoong Group's complex co-working space, and NULOOK Clinic, a K-medical aesthetic clinic. Beyond the academic sessions, attendees toured the local facilities and continued networking.

She expressed hope that such academic exchanges would continue to advance procedural methodologies.

Jun-soo Yoon, head of Daewoong Pharmaceutical's Nabota Business Division, evaluated the event as a meaningful platform for sharing advanced clinical knowledge with leading global practitioners. He affirmed that Daewoong Pharmaceutical plans to expand specialized educational programs to further solidify its cooperative relationships with medical professionals worldwide.

Meanwhile, Daewoong Pharmaceutical noted that since receiving approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2019, Nabota has steadily expanded its footprint in the global market. The company reported an average annual sales growth rate of 57%, surpassing a cumulative milestone of 1 trillion won in sales as of June 2026.
